Charles 'Gary' Sproule, III
Charles 'Gary' Sproule, III founded Sproule Manufacturing Company, Inc. (now SMC Industries, Inc.) in 1976. Since the inception of SMC Industries, Inc. Gary has developed Perlite Pipe Covering & Block, Perlite Molded Fitting Covers, Pressed Aluminum Elbows, PVC Cut and Curl Jacketing and Aerogel Accessories.
Gary graduated University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill in 1973 with a Bachelor of Arts. He and his wife Debbie were married in 1978 and have two 2 adult children, Courtney and Chad (Charles Sproule IV). In his spare time his hobbies include skiing, golf, and trips to the Caribbean.
George Bauer is Vice President at SMC Industries, Inc. George has been an employee of SMC Industries for 20 years and oversees the operations of our High Temperature Fitting Cover Division located in Houston, Texas. George is also SMC's resident computer 'guru' and has written most of the custom programs used at SMC Industries.
George and his wife Diana have been married since 1996. They relocated to Houston, Texas from Malvern, Pennsylvania in 2003, two weeks after their daughter, Angela, was born. George, Diana, and Angela enjoy traveling, especially by train. They recently completed a trip on the Alaskan Railroad from Fairbanks to Whittier.
Tracy Ludwick is the National Sales Director for SMC Industries, Inc. He joined SMC Industries in the summer of 2006. In this position he is responsible for all sales activity and customer relations for the company. He attended Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas and is a lifelong resident of Houston, Texas.
Tracy is married to his wife Shelley. They have two children, Karson and Dunham. In his spare time, Tracy enjoys spending time with his family. He also enjoys Golf and Fishing as time permits. He is also active within the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo as an officer on the Safety Committee.
Christine (Chris) Diegel is the Controller/Office Manager of SMC Industries, Inc. Chris has been with SMC Industries Inc., Malvern branch for almost 5 years. She is responsible for all the accounting functions of the company as well as supervising the PVC and Aerogel production lines. Chris is the “Jack-of-all-trades” that keeps the Malvern branch running smoothly.
Chris and her husband Rob have been married for 24 years, and currently reside in Limerick, PA with their daughter Stephanie, and 2 dogs, Wynter and Hunter. Her daughter Stephanie is studying Broadcast Communications at Cabrini College. Their hobbies include cheering on Steph as she plays softball for her college team, The Cavaliers, and watching the Flyers and Phillies.
